alpha-pox

the other day i pulled out some alphabet stickers and gave an "e" to ella for ella and a "c" to cameron for cameron and they had so much fun with them! ella immediately peeled hers off of her arm and clenched it in her fist, excitedly saying "edda" over and over again. cameron, on the other hand, studied hers for a while, then looked at ella's for a bit and finally peeled hers off of her arm and played with it before letting it fall to the floor. which is where ella discovered it and excitedly said (something unintelligible that means cameron). it was good for at least 15 minutes of fun, quiet playtime so i made a mental note to pull them out again sometime in the near future...

and then today i realized that james was napping the other day during sticker fun and the poor little guy never did get his "j" for james. so i decided to pull the stickers back out and they loved them so much that aunt jordie and i ended up letting them use up the rest of the stickers (ok, we were the ones who used them up, sticking them all over the babies). they loved peeling the stickers off of themselves and each other and got so excited to show me all of the letters. it was so much fun!









well, it was fun only until i realized that james was systematically peeling them off of his body and eating them one by one.



i have no idea how many he actually ate, but i know that i saw him eat at least 2! he was in the process of eating one when i caught him and managed to sneak another into his mouth while i snapped a picture. and to think that this is the same little guy who looked at pizza at lunch today as if it were the most disgusting thing he had ever laid his eyes on! gotta love it though...it did make me laugh!
