You girls were right. It sure is fun to have a sleep over with Nana and Grampy. I finally got my turn last Wednesday...

They really pay LOTS of attention to you. They do smile at you ALL the time. Do you think those smiles are painted on their faces? (mom and dad don’t smile all the time).

--I played and crawled around all over the place. (they don’t have any gates up at all)

--I got to climb up and up and up the stairs as much as I wanted

--Nobody grabs any toys away from you and they let you drink from a big boy cup

--I got to take a bath in that Jacuzzi thing and I even got bubbles—wow, what fun. Next time you’ll have to ask for them.

--I got to look out the big glass door and put my fingerprints all over it.

IT IS SOOO COOL.
I think Nana was not too happy with Grampy. She went to take Lydia to cross country and told him to listen for me. Well, when he came into the room he woke me up. I, of course, started the cry routine and like magic I got to stay up late. Grampy and I got to watch the Cub’s game (sorry Grandpa Lou). Then when Nana came home I watched this thing called Project Runway with the girls. I have to tell you, I liked baseball a lot better, but I got to stay up late!! It was great to just sit and relax in Nana and Grampy’s laps. I slept until 8:30 the next morning.

You girls are right, I think they have a magic warmer for the bottles, because mine was warm when I got up – no waiting. Nana was right there when I woke up too. How does she know when you wake up? Do you think they really are magic?

After my bottle Lydia, Nana and I went to this place called Dunkin Donuts. I got to have 2 donut holes. Wow those little things are yummy. I wanted a few more, but I had to eat some regular food.

Then we ran some errands and it was time to go home.

I can’t wait to go back!
Love,
Your only brother
James

What a great documented adventure, James! (Donut holes are yummy...you need to try Krispy Kreme's too!)
Grandmas and Grandpas DO smile all the time...and even when you can't see their smiles on their faces, your mommy and daddy ARE smiling in their hearts! ;)
how fun mr. james...I love that you ate some dd...that's my FAVORITE morning stop :)
I know you can't wait to go back
LOL. I just love reading about their one on one time with their grandparents. How fun. I'm so glad they get to experience things that wouldn't normally happen at home b/c they are getting some individual attention. That is just so great.
How fun!!! Love the photos!
Yes, James, there is a bunch of magic at all Grandparents' houses. A fairy sprinkles magic dust before each visit, and they whisper in the ears of grandparents and give them special powers!!! Best of all, grandparents love us SOOO much because they loved our mommies and daddies sooo much, and they just can't help it! Aren't you all SOO lucky?!??!
Aww James that's great you sound like you had tons of fun. And trust me your not the only one who is a sucker for them donut holes. ;0)
Awww...that's so cute. I want to go. I wish someone would take care of me like that. Seriously, I can't believe how big they are getting. So crazy!!! They absolutely beautiful. I hope all is well with you!
the pictures with the donut holes are priceless!
What a cute post. So nice that they get the chance to spend one on one time with someone as special as grandparents.
So fun! I love James' bag. Are they custom? I'd love to get them for my gang...
Oh how we love grandma and grandpa too. My kids just had a blissful week with them.....adorable pictures......and just so you know. My mouth is watering. I LOVE and MISS Dunkin Donuts.
Sounds like such a great time james! Glad to hear you had your turn! You are such a lucky little boy to have so much fun with your grandparents!
That's just the cutest! Grandparents ARE so much more fun than parents... just ask The Boy... he'd rather be at Nannie's and Apma's every day. I'm glad you had such a fun time, James. ***hugs***
